Strategic Partnership between the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management and Sunjin Vietnam Joint Venture Company: Expanding Career Opportunities for Students

As part of a series of meaningful activities celebrating the 60th anniversary of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (1966–2026), on May 27, 2026, the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management, together with several other faculties of the University, officially signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Sunjin Vietnam Joint Venture Company. This milestone marks a significant step toward strengthening the integration of academic education with industry practice, creating outstanding opportunities for the Faculty’s students in learning, professional development, and future career advancement.

The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the University Board of Rectors and the leadership of the Faculties of Construction Economics and Management, Architecture and Planning, Civil and Industrial Construction, and Information Technology from Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. Representing the industry partner were the Board of Directors and senior management of Sunjin Vietnam Joint Venture Company.

Creating Practical Value through a Comprehensive Partnership

Under the terms of the cooperation agreement, the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management and Sunjin Vietnam Joint Venture Company will collaborate in implementing the following key initiatives:

  • Industry Exposure and Professional Internships: Sunjin Vietnam is committed to providing opportunities for the Faculty’s students to undertake graduation internships, departmental internships, and site visits to ongoing projects and construction works undertaken by the company, enabling them to gain practical industry experience.

  • Knowledge Sharing and Career Development: The two parties will jointly organize specialized seminars, technology workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions on project management, cost management, and construction economics. In addition, company representatives will participate in career orientation activities, helping students gain early exposure to professional practices and the evolving demands of the construction industry.

  • Talent Development and Recruitment: The Faculty of Construction Economics and Management will serve as a bridge between students and industry by recommending academically qualified and professionally competent students for Sunjin Vietnam's training programs and recruitment opportunities.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, representatives of the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management emphasized that the partnership with a leading international joint venture such as Sunjin Vietnam not only enhances the practical orientation of the Faculty's academic programs but also reaffirms its commitment to improving graduate employability and expanding access to high-quality career opportunities for its students.

Notably, many alumni of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, particularly graduates of the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management, are currently serving in key technical, project management, and cost management positions at Sunjin Vietnam.
