PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO1 Apply interdisciplinary knowledge of construction engineering, economics, and management to analyze and solve practical problems in construction investment and development, contributing to industrial development and sustainable development goals.
PEO2 Plan, organize, coordinate, and control construction projects and business operations throughout the project life cycle to achieve quality, schedule, cost, and operational objectives.
PEO3 Utilize critical thinking, data analysis, digital technologies, and specialized software to support decision-making and solve complex techno-economic problems in dynamic and uncertain environments.
PEO4 Communicate effectively, collaborate professionally in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments, and adapt to technological and organizational changes in the construction industry.
PEO5 Demonstrate professional ethics, legal compliance, social responsibility, environmental awareness, lifelong learning, innovation, and readiness for digital transformation in the construction sector.

PROGRAMME LEARNING OUTCOMES (PLOs)

PLO1 C3/A3 Apply knowledge of natural sciences, engineering, economics, and legal regulations to analyze and solve techno-economic problems in construction.
PI1.1 Identify and explain the scientific, technical, economic, and legal factors affecting construction-related problems.
PI1.2 Select and apply appropriate theories, models, and methods from engineering, economics, and law to analyze construction-related issues.
PI1.3 Develop and evaluate feasible solutions that satisfy technical, economic, and legal requirements in construction practice.
PLO2 C4/P3 Analyze project data to monitor and optimize cost, schedule, quality, and risk throughout the project life cycle in order to ensure technical-economic efficiency.
PI2.1 Select appropriate analytical methods (e.g., Cost-Benefit Analysis, Earned Value Management, Risk Analysis, and Sensitivity Analysis) and relevant datasets (cost, schedule, quality, risk) for evaluating project performance.
PI2.2 Analyze project cost, schedule, quality, and risk data using appropriate analytical techniques in order to identify deviations, trends, root causes, and their impacts on project performance.
PI2.3 Interpret analytical results and recommend actions to improve project performance based on established evaluation criteria such as cost, schedule, quality, and risk level.
PLO3 C3/P2/A3 Apply digital technologies and sustainability principles in project planning, implementation, and management in compliance with relevant regulations.
PI3.1 Develop project plans using appropriate project management tools and techniques such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Gantt Charts, Network Diagrams, and Risk Matrices.
PI3.2 Utilize and integrate digital technologies, including BIM, ERP, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT), to support project management activities.
PI3.3 Integrate legal requirements and sustainability principles into project planning and management processes to ensure compliance and enhance project performance.
PLO4 C6/A4 Design innovative solutions and feasible entrepreneurial models based on data analysis and research methods.
PI4.1 Identify practical problems or innovation opportunities in construction and economics through data collection and analysis, taking into account stakeholder needs, project context, and expected benefits.
PI4.2 Generate innovative ideas and preliminary solutions using analytical and critical thinking approaches.
PI4.3 Design and evaluate innovative solutions or entrepreneurial models based on technical, financial, and social feasibility.
PLO5 C3/P3/A3 Communicate effectively and work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
PI5.1 Present professional ideas clearly and effectively in Vietnamese and a foreign language using logical structures, appropriate communication tools, formats, and supporting media.

PI7.1 Assess personal competencies and identify areas for professional development using appropriate evaluation tools and competency frameworks (competency frameworks, rubrics, checklists).
