The Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management (abbreviated as TNKT) is a unit directly under the Youth Union – Student Association of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management. The Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management is one of the organizations that consistently takes the lead in volunteer movements among students of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering in general and the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management in particular.

Volunteer activities and student movements launched and organized by the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management are always highly appreciated by the University. This clearly demonstrates the pioneering spirit, enthusiasm, and readiness to dedicate the youth power of the students from the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management. The successful organization of meaningful activities launched by the TNKT Team has contributed to widely promoting the image of active and talented Economics students to society, while also helping to enhance the reputation of the Faculty and the University.

1/ History of Formation and Development of the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management (TNKT)

The Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management was established in 2006, with the core members being students from Course K49 of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.

With the aim of creating a talented youth force to assist in establishing and organizing the activities and movements of the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of CE&M, the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management (TNKT) was formed and operates under the direct guidance of the Executive Committee of the Faculty's Youth Union – Student Association. This has further helped establish and strengthen the close link between the Executive Committee of the Youth Union and the Executive Committee of the Student Association of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management. At the same time, the establishment of the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management has created a highly favorable and official environment for Economics students to participate in meaningful activities, thereby training and developing the student's character and competence in line with social requirements.

In its early days, the Volunteer Student Team faced countless difficulties because the initial number of members was small, and they lacked extensive experience in organizing activities. However, the members of the Team were not discouraged. With determination and youthful enthusiasm, the core students of the first course continuously learned, cultivated, and accumulated experience through each activity, helping to build a solid foundation that serves as the basis for the Economics Volunteer Team to stand firm and develop until today.

After 14 years of continuous accumulation and training, the once young Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management has now grown strongly with a large number of participating members. The Volunteer Student Team is always the common home that gathers young, talented, and enthusiastic students, ready to dedicate their youth to general activities launched by the Faculty and the University both on and off campus.

2/ Annual Activities Organized by the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management

The Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management has been organizing a range of significant volunteer activities for society. It also serves as a common home that creates the most favorable environment for Team members to showcase their talents; complete and develop the essential soft skills needed for their future work and life.

2.1. Support Activity for New Student Enrollment

Volunteer students assisting new students on their first day of enrollment at the University and Faculty is a beautiful image that has become a tradition of the Team every new academic year.

2.2. Activity Supporting the "Chào K" (Welcome K) New Student Welcome Program

2.3. "Build Up" Member Recruitment Day

In the series of new student welcome activities, the "Build Up" program must be mentioned. This program is organized by the Student Association of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering with the participation of all Volunteer Student Teams from various faculties and all large and small clubs within the University. This is a place for new and current students to gather, meet, exchange, and create many beautiful memories during their student life.

2.4. Launching Ceremony for New Members of the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management

Perhaps the program that the new members of the Team look forward to the most is the "Launching Ceremony for New Members." This program is the first occasion where the Team's new members appear and showcase their talents in front of lecturers and senior members as official members of the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management.

2.5. Ngoc Hoi Martyrs' Cemetery Cleanup Activity

One of the first volunteer activities for the new members of the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management is the "Ngoc Hoi Martyrs' Cemetery Cleanup" activity. This is an extremely meaningful volunteer activity of the TNKT Team to express the deepest gratitude to the heroes who sacrificed themselves for the independence and freedom of the nation.

2.6. "Giọt hồng Xây dựng" (Construction's Pink Drop) Humanitarian Blood Donation Program

The "Giọt hồng Xây dựng" program is a large-scale humanitarian blood donation event held annually at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. This program is the clearest response of the young generation at the University of Civil Engineering to the call from the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion amidst the current increasingly severe shortage of blood supplies. This is also a very good opportunity for the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management, as well as all students of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, to contribute a small but highly significant effort to help many unfortunate people in society who need assistance and support from the community.

2.7. Birthday Celebration Program for the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management

One of the largest-scale annual programs organized by the Volunteer Student Team of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management is the "TNKT Team Birthday Celebration" program. The Team's birthday celebration activity is always a thoroughly invested program, from organization to each talented performance. This activity always receives an enthusiastic response from the Faculty's lecturers and all members of the Team, providing a good opportunity for old and new members to meet, exchange operational experiences, and more.
