Real Estate Economics and Management is a relatively new major. Previously, in 2009, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering collaborated with Moscow State University of Civil Engineering to offer a joint second-degree undergraduate program. In 2012, the university officially launched the Real Estate Economics and Management major.

The Division of Real Estate Economics and Management consists of a team of highly qualified, competent, and dedicated lecturers, including 11 members: 2 Professors with Doctor of Science degrees, 1 Associate Professor with a Ph.D., 2 Ph.D. holders, 4 Masters, and 2 Bachelors.

Over the past five years, the Division of Real Estate Economics and Management has been assigned to conduct various university-level research projects. The division has published 9 papers in international scientific journals and conferences, and 17 papers in domestic scientific journals.
The teaching staff of the Division of Real Estate Economics and Management have consistently strived to fulfill their assigned duties and have achieved numerous awards and honors in recent years:
Prof. Dr. Sci. Nguyễn Mậu Bành: Third-class Labor Medal; Medal for the Cause of Education; Medal for the Cause of Science and Technology; Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education and Training; recognized as a People’s Teacher, and recipient of many other commendations.
