On the morning of 29 September 2026, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) held the opening session of the 561st AUN-QA Programme Assessment. The Construction Economics programme, offered by the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management, is participating in this assessment, reaffirming the Faculty’s commitment to quality enhancement and international engagement.

The assessment provides an opportunity for the Faculty to review its programme against the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) standards. Through independent evaluation and constructive dialogue, the Faculty aims to identify its strengths and areas for improvement, further enhancing the programme to meet the needs of students and stakeholders.

Following the plenary opening session, the assessment team began formal meetings with the Faculty’s leadership, quality assurance team and academic staff. These sessions focused on reviewing and clarifying the delivery, management and quality assurance of the Construction Economics programme.

Over the coming days, the assessment team will continue meeting with other stakeholder groups to gather evidence and perspectives that will inform a comprehensive evaluation of the programme.

With a spirit of openness, transparency and a willingness to learn, the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management values this assessment as an opportunity to receive independent insights and recommendations from international experts. The Faculty remains committed to continuously improving educational quality and preparing graduates in Construction Economics with strong professional expertise, creative thinking, integrity and social responsibility—equipping them to meet evolving workforce needs and contribute to the country’s sustainable development.

Participation in the AUN-QA assessment also reinforces the Faculty’s commitment to a culture of quality and continuous improvement, supporting an increasingly effective and internationally engaged learning environment.
