On Saturday afternoon (January 17, 2026), at the Hall on the 2nd Floor of the Library of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management successfully organized the workshop entitled “Stakeholder Consultation for Improving the Training Program of the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management”. The workshop served as a forum for discussion aimed at enhancing the quality of the training program, thereby meeting the increasingly demanding requirements of the labor market in the fields of construction and real estate.

The event was honored to welcome distinguished delegates who are leaders and experts from various organizations operating in the construction sector, including state management agencies, research institutes, project management units, investors, consulting firms, construction contractors, and professional associations in the field of construction, along with a large number of lecturers from both within and outside the Faculty of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. The diverse participation of stakeholders provided a wide range of practical perspectives closely aligned with current labor market demands.


The workshop consisted of two discussion sessions:
Session 1: Consultation on the training program of the Construction Economics major;

Session 2: Consultation on the training program of the Real Estate Economics and Management specialization.

At the workshop, experts and representatives from enterprises highly appreciated the current training framework of the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management as well as that of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, noting that the program is closely aligned with practical requirements. The curriculum provides graduates with a solid foundation in engineering, economics, and management, enabling them to competently undertake a wide range of positions and roles within organizations and enterprises operating in the construction and real estate sectors.
In addition, the delegates also candidly identified several aspects that require further adjustment and refinement to enhance the effectiveness of the training program and better align it with practical demands, including:
Improving the structure and training pathway of the program;
Strengthening the linkage between training, practical application, and industry needs;
Supplementing and placing greater emphasis on core professional knowledge;
Promoting the application of technology and the development of soft skills;
Innovating internship programs and student career orientation.
















In concluding the workshop, Nguyễn Quốc Toản, Associate Professor, PhD and Head of the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management, delivered a closing remark expressing sincere appreciation for the attention, valuable contributions, and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by experts, agencies, and organizations toward the Faculty’s training programs. The Faculty commits to seriously acknowledging and incorporating these meaningful recommendations, and will continue to make efforts to improve the training curriculum in order to better meet the demand for high-quality human resources in the market. The Faculty and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering also look forward to receiving continued cooperation and support from relevant stakeholders in the coming time.
