Student Exchange Programme at Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan

The International Cooperation Office respectfully informs faculty members and students of the Student Exchange Programme at Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan, with details as follows:

1. Programme Period

From 8 September 2023 to 17 September 2023

2. Venue

Shibaura Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan

3. Programme Activities

• Site visit to the Tokyo Ring Road construction project and a construction company;
• Site visit to a reconstruction project in Fukushima Prefecture;
• Group work activities.

4. Eligible Applicants

Students of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering who have:

• Good academic performance; and
• Proficiency in English.

5. Scholarship Value

• JPY 80,000 for students with a grade point average of 2.3/3.0 or higher, calculated according to the Japanese grading scale;
• JPY 60,000 for students with a grade point average below 2.3/3.0, calculated according to the Japanese grading scale.

The scholarship is intended to cover expenses related to participation in the programme.

• Letter of Commitment, using the prescribed template;
• Academic Results Conversion Form, using the prescribed template;
• Academic transcript translated into English;
• Scanned copy of the applicant’s passport;
• Photograph in JPEG format;
• Medical Certificate, using the prescribed template;
• Air ticket;
• Travel insurance;
• Hotel reservation information.

7. Application Deadline

The registration list and complete application documents must be submitted before 7 July 2023.
