On September 18, 2024, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Port – Marine Engineering Design Consulting Joint Stock Company (Portcoast) held a Cooperation Signing Ceremony and Digital Model Handover.
The ceremony included the handover of digital models of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and the digital models of several traditional villages: Phù Lãng Pottery Village (Quế Võ, Bắc Ninh), Nôm Village (Văn Lâm, Hưng Yên), and Cựu Village (Phú Xuyên, Hanoi).

Portcoast and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering have maintained a long-term collaboration in various areas, including: scholarship sponsorship, support for training activities, internship and employment opportunities for students at Portcoast, joint master’s training programs in Hydraulic Engineering, and cooperation to integrate the latest digital technologies into training for the university’s engineers.
The signing ceremony and digital model handover aim to further strengthen comprehensive and effective cooperation, support the training of high-quality human resources, and promote the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) integrated with 3D Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This marks an important milestone in the strategic partnership between the two parties, contributing to the digital transformation of Vietnam’s construction, architecture, and urban planning ecosystem.
