PRACTICAL SITE VISIT ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS FROM THE FACULTY OF CONSTRUCTION ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT AT THE HAI DUONG ECORIVERS MID-RISE APARTMENT PROJECT

On December 20, 2025, the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering organized a practical site visit and internship program for students of classes 69KT7 and 69KT8 at the Hai Duong Ecorivers Mid-Rise Apartment Project, where GDC Group Joint Stock Company served as the main construction contractor. This activity is one of the Faculty’s important professional initiatives aimed at strengthening the linkage between theoretical education and practical application in the construction industry.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation was introduced by representatives of the project management board, the project director, the site manager, and GDC’s technical staff to an overview of the project’s scale, implementation progress, construction organization model, and key technical solutions being applied. Topics related to occupational safety management, quality management, main contractor coordination, structural construction organization, MEP systems, and finishing works were presented directly on site, enabling students to access the knowledge in a vivid and practice-oriented manner closely aligned with professional realities.

A highlight of the site visit was the opportunity for students to directly observe construction processes across the project’s functional zones and to listen to practical insights shared by engineers working on site. Numerous technical questions were raised and discussed by the students, reflecting their serious learning attitude and strong interest in the requirements of construction management and organization in the context of increasingly complex and modern urban projects. In addition, the student group also visited the model apartment area and the city’s landmark project—the Twin Towers The Light House—thereby broadening their perspectives on project planning, architecture, and investment value.

Representatives of the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management highly appreciated the close coordination and strong support from GDC Group in facilitating the students’ site visit and internship activities. This initiative not only holds significant professional practice value but also contributes to shaping students’ managerial thinking, organizational skills, and professional ethics as future engineers and construction managers of the country.
