POLICY ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF FACULTY AND STAFF

STAFF DEVELOPMENT POLICY FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024–2025
Faculty of Construction Economics and Management – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering

In accordance with Plan No. 711/ĐHXDHN-TCCB dated November 7, 2024 of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Official Dispatch No. 767/ĐHXDHN-TCCB dated November 20, 2024 on the training and professional development of officials and employees, the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management is implementing the staff development plan for the academic year 2024–2025 with the objective of enhancing teaching quality, strengthening scientific research, and meeting the requirements of higher education reform.

In line with the University’s general orientation, the staff development policy for the academic year 2024–2025 focuses on the following key areas:

Postgraduate training and professional development

  • Encourage lecturers to pursue higher academic qualifications (doctoral and master’s degrees), both domestically and internationally.

  • Provide support and favorable conditions for staff to participate in advanced training programs to enhance professional expertise.

Capacity building in expertise, management, and professional skills

  • Organize training courses in political theory, public administration, educational management skills, and updates on legal regulations.

  • Ensure that faculty and staff meet professional title standards as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Supportive policies and incentives for staff development

  • Allocate financial resources for training and professional development, with priority given to young lecturers and those included in staff development planning.

  • Create a supportive academic and working environment that encourages innovation, research initiatives, and the professional growth of faculty members.

Commitment to the University’s regulations

  • The Faculty of Construction Economics and Management strictly adheres to the guidelines and regulations on human resource development issued by the University.

  • Coordinate with internal and external training institutions to effectively implement the 2024–2025 development plan.
