The Real Estate Economics and Management Club (REMC) is a club operating under the management of the Student Association and with significant support from the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. The club was established to create an extracurricular environment for students specializing in Real Estate Economics and Management in particular, and for students of the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management in general who are interested in the real estate sector.
1. History of Formation and Development of the Real Estate Economics and Management Club (REMC)
The Real Estate Economics and Management Club was established on December 06, 2013, with members coming from Class 57BDS – the first class of the Real Estate Economics and Management major, Faculty of Construction Economics & Management, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
Having operated for 6 years, although the club is relatively young, with the enthusiasm and dedication of its members, coupled with the assistance and support from former members and lecturers within the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management, the REMC club has made a certain mark in professional activities in particular and the activities of the Student Association in general.
2. Activities Organized by the Real Estate Economics and Management Club
The Real Estate Economics and Management Club has organized many meaningful programs for students specializing in Real Estate Economics and Management, such as the Annual Seminar on Student Career Opportunities held every May to provide career orientation for Real Estate Economics and Management students, specialized academic programs by semester, professional exchanges with real estate clubs from Foreign Trade University, National Economics University, etc., connecting with real estate enterprises to introduce students for internships and jobs, and charity programs during the Mid-Autumn Festival and before Lunar New Year...
2.1. Seminar on Career Opportunities for Real Estate Economics and Management Students
The seminar takes place every May, serving as a venue for meeting, socializing, and exchanging between Real Estate Economics and Management students, lecturers, representatives of state management agencies, businesses operating in the real estate sector, and alumni.
The seminar aims to help students better understand their major, the future jobs they can access after graduation, and the necessary skills required to meet employment demands.
Through the sharing of representatives from state management agencies, real estate businesses, and alumni, students will be motivated to study better, be more proactive in learning, and actively accumulate knowledge and experience suitable for their future careers.
2.2. Member Recruitment Day
In the series of new student welcome activities held every September, the Real Estate Economics and Management Club always accompanies the Student Association, bringing fun-filled days for all students, helping to relieve stress after months of hard studying and difficult exams.
2.3. Charity Programs
In addition to academic and extracurricular activities within the university, with the support of the Student Association, lecturers, and benevolent businesses, the REMC club regularly organizes programs like "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" and "Loving Tet" with the wish to bring joy to disadvantaged children.
2.4. Club Birthday Celebration Program
The 6th Birthday Celebration ceremony of the Club saw the participation of esteemed lecturers from the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management, students from the Foreign Trade University Real Estate Club, and companies that have always supported the Club.
3. Development Orientation
In addition to the goals set by the Executive Board of the Real Estate Economics and Management Club – REMC from the very first day of its establishment, the Club aims to become a valuable playground for students in the Faculty and an important information channel for connecting students with the University.
Participating in the Club's activities helps members enhance their ability for self-study, self-reading, searching, and analyzing information. This proactive spirit will help students develop individual thinking and perfect themselves to become dynamic, modern students, aligning with the societal development trends.
