In line with the principle of integrating academic learning with career orientation activities, students of the Construction Investment Auditing class 70KTDT from the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management undertook a practical study visit and career orientation program at ASCO Auditing and Valuation Co., Ltd. The visit was led by Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc and M.A. Bui Quang Linh, together with lecturers from the Professional Economics specialization group.

The visit took place in an open, friendly yet highly professional atmosphere, as the student delegation received a warm and attentive welcome from ASCO. This created favorable conditions for the students to exchange ideas, learn, and directly experience the real working environment in the field of construction investment auditing.

At the opening of the program, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang – representing the visiting delegation – introduced the representatives of ASCO Auditing and Valuation Co., Ltd., and presented the members of the career-orientation delegation, thereby laying the groundwork for a closely connected working session between the university and the enterprise.

Next, Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc – Head of the delegation – shared the objectives and significance of the visit, emphasizing the role of hands-on experiential activities in helping students gain an early and clearer understanding of their study pathways, career development, and the practical demands of the labor market.

At the working session, Mr. Dao Thanh Tu delivered an overview presentation on ASCO Auditing and shared in-depth insights related to the specialization of construction investment auditing, the specific characteristics of the profession, and career development pathways in this field. These highly practical and valuable insights helped first-year students of the Faculty gain a more objective, systematic, and realistic understanding

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Viet Son provided a detailed analysis of job requirements, professional experience, as well as the knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes that students need to develop—from core disciplinary foundations to soft skills and professional conduct in a corporate working environment.

A particularly engaging and lively highlight of the session was the highly valuable sharing from senior students of the Faculty who are currently undertaking internships at ASCO. Through their real-world experiences during their studies at the University, within the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management, as well as their internship and professional work at the enterprise, they provided strong motivation and practical career guidance for the students currently enrolled.

The Q&A discussion session took place in a lively atmosphere, with many practical questions raised by students of class 70KTDT, focusing on:

• The requirements and conditions for being eligible for early internships at enterprises;

• The differences and competitive advantages of graduates majoring in Construction Investment Auditing from the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management compared with graduates of general auditing programs from other educational institutions;

• The key courses in the training curriculum that students should particularly focus on in order to better meet future job requirements.

The questions were thoroughly and multidimensionally addressed by the lecturers and representatives of the enterprise, helping students gain a clearer and more comprehensive understanding of their study orientation and future career development pathways. The visit not only provided students with valuable practical knowledge but also contributed to strengthening the solid cooperative relationship and close connection between the Faculty of Construction Economics and Management and the enterprise, while inspiring students of class 70KTDT to be proactive in learning and career planning.
